  • 4 slices Bon Matin™ La mie de l’artisan™ 12 Grain Bread
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) of milk
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) of butter
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) of chocolate-hazelnut spread
  • 4 small bananas, sliced
  • 1/4 cup (60 mL) of sugar
  • Icing sugar, to taste


  1. In a bowl, beat eggs and milk. Dip bread slices into mixture until thoroughly soaked.
  2. In a large pan, melt butter on medium heat. Cook slices for 2 minutes on each side.
  3. Remove slices from pan and place on a baking sheet, covered with parchment paper.
  4. Cover each slice with chocolate hazelnut spread, top with banana slices and sprinkle with sugar.
  5. Broil in oven until bananas are slightly caramelized.
  6. Sprinkle some icing sugar on top and enjoy while hot!
