Oatmeal Energy Balls

These sweet little balls make a great afternoon pick-me-up.

Bon Matin Ancient Grains Bread
MADE WITH Bon Matin® Ancient Grains Bread with Quinoa

Ingredients

  • 4 slices Bon Matin™ Ancient Grains Bread with Quinoa, toasted
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) pitted Medjool dates
  • 1/4 cup (60 mL) rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup (60 mL) raisins
  • 3 tbsp (45 mL) peanut butter

Preparation

  1. In food processor, pulse toasted bread to make coarse crumbs.
  2. Add dates, oats, raisins and peanut butter; process for about 3 minutes or until mixture comes together in a ball, scraping down side of bowl as necessary.
  3. Roll mixture into 1-inch (2.5 cm) balls.
  4. Place on parchment paper-lined baking sheet; refrigerate for about 30 minutes or until firm.
