Chicken and Orchard apple sandwich

Ingredients

  • 1 1⁄2 cups (375 mL) Shredded chicken
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) Maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) Olive oil
  • 4 slices Bon MatinMC no fat, no sugar added Multigrain bread
  • 2 Slides of Cheddar cheese
  • 1 Small red apple, julienne
  • 1⁄2 cup (125 mL) Chopped iceberg lettuce

Directions

  1. Mix together chicken, maple syrup and olive oil in a small bowl.
  2. Divide chicken mixture between 2 slices of bread, followed by a slice of cheese, apple and lettuce. Top with remaining bread to form sandwiches.
